Watts on the Web: The Massive Change Project explores the legacy and potential, the promise and power of design in improving the welfare of humanity. It originated as a collaboration between Bruce Mau Design and the Institute without Boundaries in which we researched the capacities and limitations of human efforts to change the world for the better. The Alliance to Save Energy offers an excellent variety of activities for elementary, middle, and high school students. The curricula focus on energy conservation, energy efficiency, sources of energy, and energy-related pollution. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory offers some great lesson plans for grades K-12. Their activities feature energy efficiency, energy conservation, and alternative sources of energy.
